Okies in California

  Alex's parents made the long trek driving from OK to CA to visit us.  We had a really nice visit and hope they had a good time too.  They hadn't met Savannah yet, so it was a big first for them - meeting their first granddaughter.  What's a granddaughter...?  She's the cute little bald-headed gal that looks like one of the boys in a dress...  Ha ha.  Glad they got to meet, and she even gave us some smiles.

 

We went to the zoo with Grandma and some friends.  The funniest part of the day was listening to the kids talk about what they thought the animals were doing.  Several of the animals were mating... 

Weston's favorites were probably the giraffes and turtles.  

(We watched Despicable Me 2 at the Drive-in movie - loved it.)

Thanks for coming Papa John and Grandma!  Glad you could hang out with us and also help celebrate Weston's birthday.  And a big thanks for the little shovel and hoe... we have several more holes in our yard now...  :)  that's what grandparents are for.  Great gifts.
