English coastline

We went to Alnwick Castle on Saturday the 26th of May.  On Sunday, we went to church in the morning and then took a train down to London.  We stayed 2 nights there.  On Monday, we went to the coastline to see the white chalk cliffs, Seven Sisters and the White Cliffs of Dover.  We had heard of the Cliffs of Dover and wanted to see them, so that was on our itinerary.  We stumbled across the Seven Sisters, which we thought were much more impressive than the Cliffs of Dover.  We also saw Dover Castle, which had some cool planes and cars on display.

On our way back to our motel from Dover Castle, we saw a sign for the London Temple.  We didn't realize our route back went near the temple.  We decided to stop by, since the kids hadn't seen the London Temple before.  It was Monday, so it wasn't open (and no one else was there), but it was nice to walk around the grounds.

We had a nice day, although we did end up walking about 8 miles.  We had a good amount of walking to get to the chalk cliffs and all through the Dover Castle.
