We spent one day at the beach before school started. We tried to play beach volleyball as a family, but we weren't very good at it and the sand got too hot. Despite the water being cold, everyone but me ended up in the ocean. First they dipped their feet in, jumping over the waves, then wading out into the water until they were body surfing the waves! I actually don't like the beach that much, but it is fun watching the kids (and Alex) play in the water.
