Art

Savannah and Jared entered art into competitions.  Savannah won the yearbook title page contest.  Her art was also chosen to be displayed in the library for another thing, although she didn't get to choose the artwork for that one.  The duck painting was submitted by her art teacher.  Savannah said it wasn't her best art, but it still was selected to be displayed.  I took her out to get cheesecake at Chili's as a reward.  

Jared won 1st place for his woodworking, doing a weave design on a bowl.  He also got 2nd place for his drawing of his track shoes.
