1st diaper cake

April showers bring May babies! There are 5 ladies in our ward who have due dates in May (or very close to). I helped with this one and I'm hosting one in a week and a half.

I made my 1st diaper cake for the baby shower this weekend - nothing fancy, just very simple. It was so easy. I thought it was cute. I also did the lovely fruit kabobs. Notice how many olives are on the vegetable tray. Jared ate about half of those...

love the diaper cake! I've always wondered exactly how you put one of those together.

How cute! I have a few friends who are pregant as well. If I end up helping with their shower, I will know who to ask about how to make a diaper cake- what a great idea!

As one of the people who actually saw the famed diaper cake in person, I can attest that it actually looked as cute as it does in the pictures. I was verrry impressed! The food was great too. Yay for fabulous showers!

Yes, it truly is an amazing diaper cake (and very thoughtful, lots of time and effort huh)...it is still assembled in the baby room...at least until he gets here ;)
Thanks Annie, and I didn't realize you were the one who made the kabobs (yummy).
I WAS there for the food ;) me and olive finger Jared...swiper NO swiping lol...too cute.
