Two!

We had dinner at Olive Garden on Weston's birthday.  His cousins Nicholas, Eli, and Ryan were there, as well as Audrey, Sam, Mike, Carrie, Baba, Papa, and GG.  After dinner, they brought out ice cream for Weston and we all sang to him.  He got such a cute grin on his face.  He loved his ice cream!

We waited until the next day to have his birthday party so that Alex could be there (Alex didn't want to miss Weston's 1st AND 2nd birthday parties.  He was in Europe last year!)  I made a Lightning McQueen cake and Mater cupcakes, since Weston really loves cars.  We had hotdogs, chicken salad sandwiches, and fruit for dinner.  Weston really enjoyed his watermelon (as you can see from the stained shirt).  He had a lot of helpers for opening presents.

Again, I love his big smile!

I tried to get a picture of all the cousins.  This was the best we could do!  They're an active bunch.

Silly boys!  Hi cousin Nicholas!

We're glad that we could celebrate Weston's birthday with family! (Mike & Carrie arrived from Angola just in time...they had quite an adventure getting back to the states.)

Props for that cake. That is impressive. But seriously, chicken salad sandwiches - were you trying to punish Weston for turning two?

The kids ate the HOTDOGS, not the chicken salad sandwiches. Those were for the adults. :)

The cake is just basically cutting and pasting... cut the shapes out of the cake, frost a crumb-y layer, put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes, and then try to smooth out a top layer of frosting. Sometimes things fall apart and you just have to attempt to paste (frost) it back together. I just try to copy things on-line. It could be better, but THANK YOU for your nice comments.
