The boys have been on several hikes since we've been here. (They have been going every Saturday morning.) We decided to take the whole family yesterday evening on a short hike to an old castle that burned down. It was really pretty, especially watching the sunset.
Weston will be a true outdoors man - he has been to the beach already and now on his 1st hike (though he slept through most of it). And he's only 3 weeks old. Alex carried him in a sling and he seemed to love it in there. Weston got out of the sling for one quick bite to eat and then he was good to go (I love the convenience of nursing...). We stayed just until sunset and then headed back (only about a half mile hike). I think this is just the beginning of many more hikes for this family.

I totally agree with Jill. Whew! Lady, not only do you look fab for just having a baby, but you are go go going!
We love hiking/walks as a family. I think it is so wonderful to teach your children to enjoy exercise, enjoy nature and enjoy being together as a family,
