Nathan and Jared both played winter basketball again this year, which started shortly after soccer ended. Jared's team really struggled. They only won 1 game out of 10 during the season, although four of the games were within a few points. They fought hard for their win. They were down by quite a few points and rallied back to win it. Jared didn't score a lot of points, but he always played aggressively.
Nathan's team had a pretty good season. They won 5 of the 9 regular season games, and then they went on to win the tournament. They played 3 post-season games to be the tournament champs! The last regular season game was close - 46 to 51. Nathan's coach nearly lost the game for them by getting a technical foul that put the other team within 3 points in the last 25 seconds. Nathan made 2 free throws at the end to put his team at 51. Nathan has a pretty sweet shot, and the highlight of the season was watching him swish a nice 3 pointer. I think that was one of his favorite memories too.
