Valentine's Day, parties, and friends

Alex had a business function for the evening of Valentine's Day (who schedules work things on Valentine's Day anyway?), so we went out for lunch.  We watched one of Savannah's friends that day too.  We did hair and nails in the morning and then went out for our lunch date with Alex.  Lucky guy to have a triple date!

Weston wanted to give Angry Bird Pig valentines to his classmates, so I came up with these valentines.  Everyone wants a green pig Valentine right?  We had heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast.

The day after Valentine's Day, we had two friends over.  We did our pre-school letters V and H (because we had to catch up on a day).  We did heart-shaped flowers in a V vase, hippos with hearts, and heart chocolate pops.

Owen went to a birthday party in February for one of his friends from church that happens to be a girl... 😊   It sounds funny to say girl friend, but he does like her.  It was a fancy ball, so he dressed up in his nice clothes.  We bought her a rose and some jewelry.  Owen knows how to impress a girl!  He did get a little nervous when it was time to hand her the rose.

The valentines don't have anything to do with Owen's party, but I wanted to document them too because they were so cute.  They're valentines that Weston got from some of his classmates.  If you look closely, you can see one from Juliet - Weston likes her!
